How We Got Here

TriPost was founded to support middle-market real estate operators and management teams through a model that is unrestricted by geographies, asset classes, or traditional private equity time horizons.

2005

TriPost co-founders Brad Carroll and Todd Silverman worked together at a global, vertically integrated real estate owner-operator, where Brad led Investment and Portfolio Management roles, and Todd served as Head of Global Business Development.

Brad and Todd continued their careers together at a secondaries-focused real estate investment firm, where they served on the firm’s investment and management committees. Brad focused on shaping and executing the firm’s US investment strategy, while Todd led the capital-raising efforts.

TriPost was founded. The name “TriPost” reflects the firm’s foundation on the three core pillars of real estate: raise capital, deploy capital, and manage capital. Coincidentally, this marked the third professional venture together for Brad and Todd, building on their prior successes.

TriPost made its inaugural platform investment in affordable and mixed-income housing through partnering with an established real estate development and investment firm focused on urban growth markets throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

TriPost broadened its footprint through five targeted platform investments across three asset classes: multifamily, medical office, and industrial.

With extensive experience investing across 11 real estate platforms, TriPost introduced its first commingled Platform Solutions Funds designed to expand the firm’s established strategy of acquiring strategic ownership positions in real estate operating companies.

Through its Asset Solutions strategy, TriPost broadened its middle-market capital solutions, acquiring asset-level ownership positions from existing real estate owners on the secondary market and reinforcing its collaborative, value-driven approach across the capital stack.
